With a legacy spanning over 8 years, Ila Naturals (India) Pvt. Ltd is a fully equipped banana chips manufacturing unit located in Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu. We have been bringing the authentic taste of South India to every table. It starts at our selected farms. We handpick green Nendran bananas that are over 90% mature, choosing them at the right stage for crisp, flavourful chips.

At our factory, every banana is checked for maturity, variety, grade, and overall quality. Only first-grade bananas—firm outside and golden inside—move forward.

Peeling

Fresh and Ready to Slice

The selected bananas are washed in fresh water and carefully peeled. Each one is then ready to be sliced and cooked.

Crisping

The Golden Transformation

A high-speed slicer cuts even slices directly into hot, pure coconut oil. Controlled temperature and roasting time create their golden colour, rich aroma, and satisfying crunch—with no food colours or additives.

Segregation

Every Chip Gets a Final Look

Once cooked, the chips are inspected on our specially designed segregation table. Broken chips are removed, and only those that meet our standards move to packing.

Our own banana farms across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, maintained by MBFPC (our Farmer Producer Company), ensure a year-round supply of the specific variety of Nendran bananas that is best for manufacturing banana chips.

Our in-house edible oil manufacturing facility gives us direct control over the quality of the coconut oil and other edible oils we use for our banana chip manufacturing.

In-house oil management and quality control

The quality of frying oil has a direct effect on the taste and consistency of banana chips. Adulteration is also a concern when sourcing edible oil. We extract our coconut oil in-house so we can oversee its quality and availability. We also obtain a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch of oil.

Our all-in-house processing facility for raw materials makes us more transparent and more authentic.
